Temperred glass will only break when there is a high physical impact or a drop of watch to ground after you have installed it. The glass absorbs and impact and breaks so that it doesnt trasfer the energy to watch glass keeping it safe. But breaking in 15 minutes or after 2 years of instalation depends on when the physical impact in happening to the watch. In your case looks like your watch had a physical impact or watch drop few moments after you installed the tempered glass. Hope this clarifies
